Alt.conference is a conference/workshop series aimed at social media users and professionals. The idea is to give these users and professionals an opportunity to meet, discuss, present and brainstorm.

Hi Dunne
It isn't important if you don't feel it is necessary. You can use a mobile device, pen and paper or just sit and watch and participate. Entirely up to you. There are power points and wifi available.
